Each day throughout the year, you will find helpful commentary, insightful questions, and prayer prompts to help you not only read about God but befriend Him.

Instead, we pray that each time you open Scripture, you would experience God’s presence and grow ever more sure that just as God has pursued His people throughout history. A Year in the Bible | Volume 2 covers 1 Kings through Psalms.

At this point in Scripture, God’s people are slowly heading toward disaster. The Israelites make decisions that only cause them to falter in their faithfulness to God and place themselves on a path that leads them away from the Lord. 

But God still has His people in His hands. God still has a plan to bring about restoration, and He will fulfill that plan no matter Israel’s actions.
