The first step in your wash day routine is treating your scalp. Heal a dry, itchy scalp before you cleanse your hair with the help of coconut oil, himalayan salt, organic tea tree essential oil, and peppermint essential oil, all combined in this invigorating and mineral filled scalp treatment.
Start by sectioning your hair into four or more sections. Taking one section at a time, continue to section hair to give you access to the roots of your hair and your scalp. Squeeze and fill dropper with oil and apply small amounts of the oil to your scalp of damp or dry hair. Rub the oil into your scalp with your fingers to evenly disperse the oil amongst the section of hair. Place closed bottle in warm water before applying to your hair for a hot oil treatment. Leave scalp treatment on your hair for 5-15 minutes, then cleanse your hair to remove oil from your scalp.
